Taft maintains standards of confidentiality and respects the privacy of individuals whose personal information is collected and processed. This Privacy Policy outlines practices regarding the collection, use, sharing and protection of personal data. It applies to information obtained through the Taft website, inquiries and related interactions.
Information collected
Personal data may include name, email address, phone number, country and details provided in inquiries or forms. Additional information, such as IP addresses or browser data, may be collected automatically through site usage.
The site also records how visitors found Taft: the referring site, the first page visited, any campaign tags in the link that was followed (such as utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign) and the answer to “How did you hear about us?” on the inquiry form. This is kept in the browser only for the visit and is stored with any inquiry submitted.
Use of information
Collected data is used to respond to inquiries, provide services and facilitate communications related to compliance systems, oversight and regulatory matters. It may also support internal operations, including analytics and site improvement.
Sharing of information
Data is shared with third-party service providers for operational purposes, such as form processing or analytics. Appropriate safeguards are implemented to protect personal data. Information is not sold or shared for unrelated marketing.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare also runs Turnstile on the site’s forms to block automated spam, and may process technical data such as IP address and browser details to do so. Cloudflare’s handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.
Security measures
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are employed to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Security practices align with applicable standards.
User rights
Individuals may request access, correction or deletion of their personal data by contacting Taft. Requests are addressed in accordance with data protection requirements. Opt-in consents for communications may be withdrawn at any time.
Cookies and tracking
Cookies may be used for administrative purposes, such as site functionality and analytics. Options to manage cookies are available through browser settings.
International transfers
Data may be transferred across jurisdictions, with measures to ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in practices or regulations. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of revisions.
